The car park is 200 metres past the pumping station. Signing on and toilets are at the information centre adjacent to the pumping station. Please be aware that there is a height and width restriction of 6' 6" on the exit of Davy Down. Large vehicles and cars with roof racks must use the entrance when leaving the venue. This event also counts towards the league. An event programme will be emailed to entrants after closing. The programme will also be placed on this webpage. No printed programme will be produced in advance. Race times and categories may be varied subject to number of entries in any single race.
Full circuit practice available 10:30-10:55, 11:40-11:50, 5 mins after youth race end until 12:35, 5 mins after JVW race end until 13:45. Medal awards will be made as soon after each race as possible. Team award will be made to the best aggregate placed league-recognised seniors’ team.
Championship eligibility criteria by address and region on licence apply, unless specific request for student or forces eligibility has been made in advance. Riders must hold BC racing licence and reside in SE or E Regions as defined by British Cycling on its website.
On a 2.6km course, riders will tackle the hill twice a lap; first up the off-road trail and then up the Hoggenberg to the line. The recent Mosquito London Cat A race on Hog Hill used a 3.5km lap.. The upper infield section is reconfigured to minimise wear. Into the descent there are no visits to the downhill berms this time, but still plenty of up and down. Instead of two runs along the level part of the lower circuit there will be just the one, so the Regional Championships lap will be less technical and take under 8 minutes.
Water supply for jetwashes from a tank nearby the pit area. Do not wash in the water supply tank which is to provide clean water for all. Changing and showers in pavilion. Leave muddy shoes by the door please and remember to take them home with you after.
Ample parking on site. Those requiring blue badge access may call reception on arrival. Hog Hill is at the E end of Forest Road out of Barkingside and on the Romford Road coming N up Whalebone Lane from the Moby Dick junction of the A12, six or seven miles inside the M25. Nearest tube: Fairlop. Nearest rail: Goodmayes.

The Team Championships will work along the same lines as the Inter-Area Championships. Teams of 4 riders will all compete in the same race and their finishing positions determine the winning team with the best 3 finishers to count. There will be trophies for the club best teams. Composite teams will be allowed but will not be eligible for trophies. There will be no prize money due to the high costs of the venue.
The Senior Race will be 50 minutes as a compromise between the usual 40 mins for Vets/Women and 1 hour for Seniors/Elite Vets/Juniors.
Riders must compete in their usual categories. The senior team may be any combination of seniors, women etc. There is no entry fee discount for league members but non BC members will need to pay the usual event surcharge of £3.
The event will be run to usual league standards. There is changing and showers at Danbury Outdoors. The course is mainly grassland with some woodland technical sections.
Entries are now closed. There will be no entries on the day in any category.
In order to ensure a safe start, riders will be started in four waves. Each team will have one rider in each wave.
The race will be followed by the League prize presentation.=0D=0A=
